Images of Our Past
The LSUHSC-S Archives documents the history of the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center at Shreveport, as well as the history of medicine in Shreveport and Louisiana. Holdings include photographs, correspondence, newspaper clippings, reports, and other primary source materials. Our website will feature items from the archives that highlight important events of the health sciences center’s history.
This month we feature the first freshman class admitted to the LSU Medical School in 1969. Click here to learn more about this historic event.
- New Acquisitions
Review a listing of the new books that the library has acquired.
- New Service: Wireless Printing Available
Wireless printing is now provided in the library for faculty, staff, and students using their own Windows or Mac laptops. Documents to be printed are sent to the GoPrint charging station in the library computer lab and may be retrieved using a prepaid copy card.
- New Electronic Books
The Library has recently received several generous memorial gifts that have been used to provide access to electronic books:
